Last year I managed to raise some money for a children's charity through the lovely owners and organisers of the Sussex cricket ground in Hove.They auctioned off one of my paintings which was of the Rat Pack.

It was signed by the trio who are touring and performing their hits,who you may have seen in the west end of london.They performed in the sussex cricket ground where the auction was held.

I was very happy with how much it raised for their children's charity and the feeling I got from that was so much more rewarding than just selling a painting and whenever I spoke about it I got the same feeling again so I decided to find a charity that I could dedicate my efforts to.

As I live in a city that I love so much (Brighton) I decided to give something back,so I set out to find the perfect charity.

The Rocking Horse Charity is a charity that helps sick children in Brighton and Sussex from The Royal Alexandra Hospital and beyond. This year marks the 40th anniversary of the Rocking Horse and so I chose this charity to do everything I can to help raise much needed funds for all the good that they do.

For all of you who have visited Kensington Gardens in Brighton over the last couple of years, you would have seen me on sundays with my gallery displaying my artwork, you may have participated in my one day raffle which I hold every sunday where the general public bought tickets from me for £1,then,at 5pm that day I would have a child pick out the winning ticket where I would then contact the winner by phone who would in turn return to choose the painting of their choice.

I therefore have this giant raffle as a way of raising funds for the Rocking Horse appeal but this time it's extra special in the form that the winning tickets will be able to choose the autographed painting of their choice.I have some big names on now below who give their support to such a worthy and rewarding cause.Many big names,some who reside right here in Brighton are in the first pool of stars from the world of sport,TV,music and film.It is a pleasure to have the first seven warm hearted stars on now who have entertained me and many millions throughout the years,Thanks guys.The rocking horse rocks!

The lucky First prize ticket holder will pick the autographed painting of their choice from the 7 below 2nd prize will pick theirs,third theirs and so on right up to the 7th winner! Fantastic.

Tickets for this raffle cost £2 each if you buy with credit/debit card or text the word 'now' to 60155, text messages cost £3+minimum standard rate and that's not all!

When you purchase your ticket you will recieve a print out which you should keep.On presenting your printout you will recieve a 25% discount on all paintings from £80 & up which you purchase.
